Jeffrey Benjamin speaks with Jim McClenahan, Director of Management and Executive Programs for Extended Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. As a Director in Extended Studies he is responsible for over 150 professional development courses annually as well as major conferences such as the Social Media at Reno Tahoe conference, sm@rt. He serves as the Treasurer to the Northern Nevada Chamber of Commerce, chair of the Schools to Careers committee for Washoe County and on the advisory board for St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. He completed his Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006. In his spare time, Jim is an avid fisherman and amateur magician.

She has worked in Human Resources for nearly 20 years. She holds dual bachelor degrees in Communications & Psychology from Chapman University, circa 1989. In 1998, she graduated with a Master of Science degree in Human Resources (also from Chapman University). She has been SPHR certified (Senior Professional in Human Resources) since 1999. Karyn was a volunteer for the Junior League of Reno for 12 years (and is currently a sustaining member) and served as Community Vice President in 2004.
